Ein llusern ar y daith

(Golau Duw)
Ein llusern ar y daith
  Yw gair ein Duw;
Ein cysur yn y gwaith
  Yw gofal Duw.
Pan ddiffydd lampau'r llawr
Fe dyr y nefol wawr, -
Cawn rodi 'ngolau'r wawr
  A ddenfyn Duw.

Po drymaf fyddo'r baich
  Duw'n ddigon gawn;
A phwyso ar ei fraich
  Yn dawel wnawn:
Er colli'r ffordd daw Ef
 ni i lwybrau'r nef,
I gadw'n llwybru'r nef
  Ei help a gawn.

Os melys yma yw
  Ei eiriau Ef,
Melysach fry fydd byw
  Byth gydag Ef:
Fath oesoedd o fwynhad
Fydd byw yn nhŷ ein Tad,
Cartrefu gyda'n Tad,
  Byth gydag Ef.

(The Light of God)
Our lantern on our journey
  Is the word of our God;
Our comfort in the work
  Is the care of God.
When the lamps of the earth below go out
The heavenly dawn shall break, -
We shall get to walk in the dawn's light
  That God shall send.

When the burden be heaviest
  God sufficient we shall find;
And lean on his arm
  Quietly we shall do:
Although losing the way, he shall bring
Us to the paths of heaven,
To keep in the paths of heaven
  His help we shall have.

If sweet here are
  His words,
Sweeter above it shall be to live
  Forever with him:
Such ages of enjoyment
Shall be to live i our Father's house,
To make our home with our Father,
  Forever with him.
